Beartooth Mtns

Beartooth Mtns

The calendar says it’s March 31st, and as you can see the photos I took this morning don’t appear to show that it is spring.  I softened and listened and felt the beauty of what nature had brought us, even if I felt spring should look different.  Although my thoughts said “okay, it’s almost April and it is spring, what is nature sharing with me that I am missing?” I am staring out the window at the Beartooth Mtn Range as I type.  The snow says “The earth here needs me, I bring nutrients to the birthing soil. I am not a blanket keeping spring from you, but a part of a process  as old as time.  Trust me.  Release trying to control from a man-made date on the calendar. I am preparing many gifts that come with acceptance , mystery, and curiosity. All is in Divine order. Simply feel it.”

I am being asked to step up to the plate and accept what I am being urged to create from my internal guidance. I have always hidden in the shadows, I could remain illusive that way. Never being wrong, but never being right either.  How often are we asked in our lives to step out of our comfort zone and trust that God is guiding us?  I have been shown time and again that if I go inside where I can hear my internal guidance, which for me  is God speaking as me, that my life and joy grows in ways I couldn’t begin to imagine until I trusted.  We are all being asked in these times that are changing around us to trust the light inside that can show us the way in what we are being asked.  Keeping our eyes on the light while we go through internal change and cleansing takes practice,  it is not an instant fix, but a return to the heart in all our activities.

Yes, I am being asked to step out of my comfort zone yet again.  I will reveal the project when I am guided from inside to do so.  What action are you being asked to take today, that would bring  knowing  to your own heart?

This week we head to the East Coast to Stamford Ct for our interview.  Mary Robustelli and her 28 yr old Quarter Horse Poco have graciously agreed to be interviewed.  Mary is the owner of http://www.teepee-tots.com/camp.htm.  Poco also works with Mary in summer enrichment program.  He graciously teaches children about horses and lets them sit on him to see and feel how calm he is.

Mary and Poco have been together 23 of his 28 yrs.  He is not only Mary’s partner he is her friend.  Together they have moved  many places in Ct and NY. Mary wanted to know how Poco was adjusting to the new barn he was now living in.   “It is calm and peaceful here.  I need to move around and I can do that. The family here likes me, I can tell. The young girl reminds me of my other friends. She has such enthusiasm to be around me, I can take it and I don’t react.”

Mary and Poco have been together before in other life times.  The strength of their bond goes deep.  They reflect each other well.  Poco “It’s been easy being with Mary.  She understands that I love working with children as she much as she does. I can give them confidence . I take care of them when they are near me or on me.  Mary does the same.  No spirit is not loved by her.”

We asked Poco if there was anything he wanted to share with everyone reading this interview.  ” Because Mary gives so freely from her heart she is always taken care of and blessed.  We have always been equals. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for her.  She is the reason I am here on earth. I watch over her.”

I can attest that this big bay gelding is as kind and loving as he sounds.  Mary has great respect for Poco, as he does for her.  Their relationship is one that transcends time and space.  They bless us all with their union.

PS: Mary sent me the following and it is a perfect example of their respect and love.

“Most of the time, Poco has acess to his stall at all times but since the section of the houses yard is getting a bit torn up, I sometimes leave Poco enclosed in his pasture.

On those days, when I come to let him out and feed him at the end of the day, he is very hungry and could choose to run up the hill to eat his food that he knows is waiting in his stall but he when I open the gate, he waits for me to gather up his belongings (feed bucket etc) and walks up to the barn WITH me and if he gets ahead of me, he waits for me to catch up to him and then he resumes walking WITH ME.  That, I feel is one way he shows his respect to me.”
Thank you Mary and Poco for letting us share in your light and love.

Introduction To

The Gentle Knowledge Program

Welcome to a journey of trust, of discovery, and of the heart. If you are ready, the animals are dedicated to work with you. Will you communicate? Yes. Will you learn the many ways in which animals communicate? Yes. The rest is built from the desire in your heart. This program is not for dabblers, and it is not for the faint of heart. Who the program is for, are those who are ready to stop looking outside of themselves, and begin to look within.

was designed for those who are ready to learn what their animals are telling them. The Gentle Knowledge Program
