For the sake of blog integrity yesterday’s egg was the first we FOUND, not the first layed. Accuracy in journalism is important after all. During chores in the barn as I was feeding my horses dinner I found 9, yes 9, tiny little eggs. One slick chick, from my investigating from chicken experts, must have found a spot, liked what she found, and commenced to laying over the course of several days. Our full chicken operation is not yet up and running. Just a few of the gals have red cones, a chicken sign they are mature and begining to produce eggs.
I won’t always be a green horn chicken rancher. At least the chickens are use to me saying ” Head em up, and move em out” when I open the door to let them out in the morning.
EGG!!!!!!!!
Have you ever heard “work with what you know.” Well I thought about that and came up with ” I know barn yard fashion.” Why not become a barn yard trend setter. It doesn’t have to only be the males that are colorful characters.
