Hurray! Sage is back in the hotel room and will be going home to New Mexico tomorrow. An amazing animal.
Her story will continue when she goes to California in December to accept her award for being The American Kennel Club 2009 Search & Rescue Dog of the Year.
I just spoke with Kathy and Diane. Sage underwent numerous test yesterday. Hours were spent going over several options as to how to proceed. When I have clearer details I will pass them on. Sage is undergoing surgery at 12 PM MT that should last about 2 hrs.
Diane, Kathy, and Sage are grateful for all the prayers and good thoughts coming there way.
I received a call from Diane and Kathy on Sage’s journey in Fort Collins. There are no conclusive results, yet. She is having another biopsy today and they will no more later. Sage’s surgery is scheduled for tomorrow..
From Sage herself she told me she is doing fine. All the doings at the University Hospital are not overwhelming her. She takes most things in stride. Diane and Kathy make certain they are open in all ways with her. Sage respects that and expects nothing less.
Sage is on route to Colorado for a Monday morning appointment at Colorado State University Animal Cancer Center in Fort Collins. Her surgery is scheduled for Wednesday. Sage is taking all in stride.
Thank you for all your donations to help Sage and Diane. I will keep you updated as I receive them from Diane.
