Life is full of love. It is loving by nature when we live from the heart. You may think “that’s easy for you to say, your world is not falling apart.” No it is not easy for me to say, and it is not some flip, pie in the sky thinking. Pain may give the illusion of overshadowing the love surrounding you. It may be difficult to see it in the fear based world. It is there in the world that feels its own life force and the power within it. It is there in the power of love. Not a love that is in the mind. But in one that comes from your core self, self love.
If you take a moment to breath deeply in this moment (even if you are mumbling about anything I believe to be true). And in this moment ask Love to come forward in your feelings, in your breath and your awareness. In your breath of life are you aware of a very powerful force that runs through your body? I define this life force as something greater than I am. I define it as the larger picture of I AM, of the Divine. It is also viewed as Universal and Source energy to name a few. In breathing the awareness of this energy as me and in me my feel of it shifts, from my minds perception to my internal self’s knowing. And in that moment I feel a loving vibration of Divine resonance that connects me to a much larger picture of Love, of the great I AM.
Is it any wonder that the worlds awareness of a resonance that is connected and within all things has faded from view. I am not referring to religion being lost in many lives, but to ones own internal knowing of self. To ones accountability to self. And to ones connection and awareness to what they contribute in sending out into the world as their beliefs. Yes God has been taken out of our lives by government. After all we wouldn’t want to be politically incorrect and slight someone who does not believe in God. So lets take God out of society all together. What happened to diversity and personal accountability? Instead we homogenize the world and leave no room for honoring all beings. We bring the focus outside to what might offend someone instead of keeping it inside knowing our self and in the process loving the diverse nature of all individuals and working out differences from love and peace.
SELF LOVE, UNIVERSAL LOVE and SOURCE LOVE are not something we can give away or regulate so as to not offend someone. The return of the awareness of LOVE in you, starts with you and stays within you. What we resonate out into the world from LOVE begins to heal all.
All may appear dark, but love is coming to light in the darkness.
I have been trying to take a picture of a bald eagle since I moved to my home in Montana. It became something I would laugh about when I would call my dad and told him about the latest almost picture.
It started with my waiting in my car while my husband was inside a business in Bozeman. I felt a strong nudge to get my camera out. I ignored it after all I was behind a building in the city. What picture could I possibly want to take. I ignored the urge only to have a bald eagle fly pretty low near the car. So as a joke I took a picture of the space where the eagle had flown threw, basically empty blue sky.It became a joke to tell my dad about the latest almost photo.
One day several bald eagles where in a pasture by the side of the road. I had not taken my camera with me that day.
The next eagle encounter I thought he will never believe this one, but told my dad anyway. I had been driving along Int 90 at 75 mph when an eagle dropped down to my line of vision in my lane and flew in front of me for less than a minute. Something I wouldn’t have believed if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes. I immediately called my dad on that one. That is after I was able to close my mouth that had been hanging open. My dad has since that call gone into a nursing home in CT. So the spontaneous calls have ended.
So the sighting of the eagle in the tree yesterday was an ooh ooh moment. Maybe I can finally get a picture to send my sister to show my dad. The eagle did not take off as I pulled my truck over to the side of the road I lowered the window, raised my camera and took three photos. This majestic animal received my gratitude as I drove away.
The sweetest part was imagining the smile on my dad’s face when he sees the pictures my sister will show him.
Communication from our animals comes in many forms. Narrowing to believe the vibration of the vocal chord is the only means of communication limits the ways in which we receive knowledge wtith more than the mind at the helm of our existence. In simpler terms, our entire life vibrates with more than what speech can bring us. Below I would like to share one such observation from a friend I am having the pleasure of working with in a class I teach. In the simplicity of observing two cats, much was captured. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
Next Sunday I will be highlighting an interview with Dr Lynn Peck D.V.M and her two cats. I hope you will join us. Dr Peck was a featured speaker in the tele-series The Evoluiton of Animal Health Care.
This week is simply a few pics of my guys. I hope you will consider joining us fror the series this afternoon at 5 PM ET, the info is on Saturday’s blog.
This week’s interview finds us still in Billings Mt. I spoke with Ellie Whitney owner of Lovable Pets Bakery Boutique http://lovablepetsbakery.com and her co-owners Max her 3 yr old Beagle and store spokesperson and Tyee her 5 yr old Rat Terrier. Both dogs came from a “puppy mill.” After aquiring Max and the illness he came with, Ellie began her journey that brought her to opening her store and web site.
Ellie, and Jeremy her mate, had began looking in shelters for a friend for Tyee. They could find nothing that was appropriate for their present living arrangements and lifestyle. They wanted a puppy and on a whim stopped at a local pet store. Upon walking in she saw a small sickly dog in a large pen with many many other puppys. Max captured their attention from the first look. He was very sick and underweight, they brought him home. So began the journey to opening the store to offer other pet owners quality products that had brought Max to the dog he is today.
I asked Tyee if he would like to speak first he said “no” he prefered Max be the one to participate in the interview.
Max let me know he is an older soul, and a thinker. He is a wonderful store ambassador. He conveyed he was willing to share what he thought would help others, not anything personal. I told him again, he was guiding the interview.
Max said “ Ellie has always let me be who I am, she didn’t make me into a victim.” He appreciates that deeply. Ellie told me he is very loving and kind and he shares that very freely with those that come into the store. Max shared he is always a gentleman. He assures other well mannered dogs that come in the the store it is a good place to come, people care here. Max said “I am partners with Ellie and the rest of the family. Ellie has always respected who I am and never asked me to be anything else.”
“Max inspires people with his weekly tips in the newspaper, and children and adults that come into the store.” Ellie shared. I asked Max about that and he says “I can help people and show them who I am now, and where I started. Its not about the place I came from, but what I have chosen to do with it.” He went on to tell me that “Ellie cared enough to do what she does for me in my food and nutrition.”
Beagle Sanctuary of Montana is a dream Ellie is creating, because of Max. It is still in the planning stages. “I look forward to helping Ellie let these animals know they are loved and can be whole, and not see themselves or let others see them as victims.” Max went on to say “Ellie cares deeply and we mirror each other.”
Max what would you like people to know: “ Because Ellie honored who I am, it changed my world. She never saw me as broken and needing to be fixed. My eating habits challenge her but she works with me. It means all the difference to me. I have a great deal of respect for my family. I know the work I do every day at Lovable Pets is important. When I look up into my Mom’s eyes when we’re working together, I know she recognizes my value. I do my best to welcome people and put a smile on their face by wagging my tail, and try to comfort and welcome dogs that are nervous and scared. My presence always seems to lessen anxiety and fear in other dogs. I appreciate so much that my Mom chose me out of all the healthy dogs—no matter where I came from—and together we can help other dogs that are also less fortunate. “
I would like to thank Ellie, Jeremy, Max and Tyee for sharing with us the love they share and what they have created because they came together. Ellie, Jeremy, and Tyee offered Max a place to become whole again and share his life with their family.
